so i'm going to be doing another show opening Saturday February 7th at the Padlock Gallery.

it all starts at 8 PM. i'm just having the one piece in the show, but i'm pretty happy about how it turned out. i'd like to do more.

when i dropped off my piece at Jinxed they gave me some cards for the show. and here it is.

The Heart Show

i just finished my piece for The Heart Show that's going on at Jinxed here in Philly. (www.jinxedphiladelphia.com) i'm pretty happy with it. there's so much spray-fix on the thing it looks like a piece of candy. well, that and the bright colors! i kept mistaking it for a cake. the show is Friday the 13th of February. pop on over to their website to get directions.

i also put up some new magnets on my etsy site today. i'll be putting up more either tomorrow or the next day AND i'm working on some even newer magnets. i haven't even gotten around to working on my sketchbook for the Sketchbook Project!

Procrastinators

so the Procrastinators Holiday Art Bazaar at the M-Room was a good time. i didn't have a chair at first so i was just standing or kneeling until i got a bit tired of people offering me a chair so i accepted the only one available which happened to be the tallest one in the room. i was sitting higher than my table top. i felt a little goofy.
i have put up all my Sculpey Couples on my etsy (www.themapleridge.etsy.com) so you can swing by and check those out. one of my favorite things about posting my stuff on etsy is coming up with a description for my stuff. just let the mind wander.

and so it continues

so i've created a few more sculpey couples (i really need to come up with a better name for these things) as well as some more sketches from the sketchbook.
this saturday i'll be participating in Procrastinators Craft Bazaar at the M-Room on Girard and the sculpey couples that don't sell there will all end up on my etsy (www.themapleridge.etsy.com).

Standard Tap

So the Standard Tap show yesterday was pretty fun. I had some new drawings and new figures. I made 6 couples that i think turned out pretty nice, particularly the guy with the shotgun!
I'll be participating in another Positive Spaces show called "Procrastinator's Holiday Bazaar 2" at the M-Room at 15 W. Girard Ave. here in Philadelphia on Saturday December 20th from 11:30am to 5pm. You can check out Positive Spaces website at www.positivespace.net to see what they're keeping themselves busy with.
I Also may be doing a show on Saturday the 13th, but I'm not sure yet. I'll post it if I am.
